Denimazaboo is made out of a few different shades of denim. Monochromatic colorways are cool. We're loving them these days. If Denimazaboo is too hard to say, you can just say Denis.
Denimazaboo loves to party, have a good time and look cool while doing it. You might want to give Denis a pair of sunglasses. Or should I say a single of sunglass.
Why does Denis like to party? Well, we just learned that the name Denis is derived from the Ancient Greek name Dionysios (Διονύσιος). It means "of Dionysus" or "dedicated to Dionysus." Dionysus was a Greek god who liked to party, liked drama, liked theater...liked to be the center of attention.

Our Denis is a little more subdued and mild-mannered...chill. Denim. Maybe we can turn denim into an adjective.
Denis Under Construction
We wanted to make another monochromatic Azaboo. Denim is super fun to work with. We chose the neon yellow accents for the feet and tail. They really pop against the deep denim blue. For the hair, we chose a gray wool yarn, but we didn't have much of it, so we used what we had, and it turned out to be perfectly fine.

We ended up piecing the denim for the head because the scraps we were using were not quite large enough. The feet and tail are made of a half-finished, hand knitted sock. The neon yellow yarn used was the absolutely incredible Bad Egg color from Spin Cycle Yarns. We're running low on this yarn, and now I'm realizing we must order some more.
