Hi, I'm Maurice.

My headshot for my acting CV. I want to be a movie star.

I live in a big pile of old clothes and fabrics. They come from I don't even know where. They've always been here. And the pile keeps growing and growing and growing.

We have clothes that are old. We have clothes that are new. We have clothes in every color and every material you might imagine. It's miles and miles and miles of textiles as far as the eye can see.

I live in a small cave deep inside one of these textile mountains. I call it Maurice's House. No, I'm not referring to myself in the third person. There are other creatures that live here in the Textile Mountains with me and I have to let them know that this cave is Maurice's House.

The Eponymous Maurice's House

You might think this is a story about how terrible waste is. And if you think that, you're absolutely, 100%...wrong. I love waste. Waste is full of opportunities. Waste is full of potential. Waste is the best. It's like treasure, but no one is trying to steal it.

Waste keeps me company. All my friends come from waste. We come from waste and we will return to waste I say. If you think about it, waste IS abundance. Oooh, deep thoughts from Maurice.

But it wasn't always that way. No, there was a time when I was lonely. There was a time when I was sad. There was a time when I resented living here in the Textile Mountains.

As you explore these pages, I hope you enjoy hearing my story. I going to share some of my waste with you. Would you like some of my garbage?

Wastefully yours,

~ Maurice
