Hi, I'm Mollazaboo.

I'm wearing my unicorn sweatshirt. Do you like it?

I love unicorns.

Unicorns are definitely real.

Oh, you don't believe me? May I present to you my friend Sprinkles, the most magical unicorn in the entire world.

Ok, enough about unicorns. More about me, Mollazaboo.

I love the color purple. Purple is the color of royalty. It's the color of kings and queens and princesses and princes.

I'm also wearing neon yellow nail polish. Do you see it? Isn't it pretty?

And did you notice I'm also wearing neon yellow TAIL polish? It's going to be a trend. Pretty soon everyone is going to be wearing tail polish.

I have an Azaboo label in a beautiful matching purple felt with pink thread pricks attaching to my body.

And I have some extra special embroidered pink hooves hiding somewhere.

I love to play, I'm friendly, and I look forward to meeting you.

TTFN,

~ Mollazaboo ❤️

Mollazaboo

Under Construction

Like all Azaboos, Mollazaboo is special.

The outer fabric is made from an old unicorn sweatshirt.

To differentiate the head from the rest of the body, we have quilted the face.

The feet and tail are made out of the cuffs of the sweatshirt.

The neon yellow yarn running around the tail has been appliqued in place. This was a first for us, and honestly it was extremely fun to do, though rather time-consuming.

You'll see in the photo above, when closing the head and the body and connecting them, we used generous basting stitches to help keep the lining together. This technique seemed to work very well, definitely to be repeated.

Since Mollazaboo's favorite color is purple we did the hair in crocheted purple yarn from Toft (Amethyst DK) The eye is a bit of leftover Milburn DK from Eden Cottage Yarns. The pupil of the eye is made from black yarn called Gilliatt from De Rerum Natura (On the Nature of Things). Gilliatt apprently being a character from a Victor Hugo novel. The neon yellow of the tail and nails is from Japanese brand Amirisu.
